Guess Who Said This 1

ANSWER TO THE QUESTION: WHO SAID -
"In the year ahead, we're not going to be on the defensive, shoring up problems and answering our critics. We are moving forward, and I have no doubt that when we look back 1988 will be a year of great accomplishment toward our goals. This is the year when Judge Anthony Kennedy will be confirmed and the Supreme Court will again be brought up to full strength. The Federal judiciary is too important to be made a political football. I would hope, and the American people should expect, not only for Judge Kennedy's confirmation but for the Senate to get to work and act on 27 other judicial nominations that have been left in limbo for quite awhile now."
THE FALSE HERO OF THE NEW REPUBLICANS, Ronald Reagan.
Those who believe (and call themselves) Reagan Republicans are lying through their teeth. Two of them were CHILDREN when Reagan was President. Cruz was barely ten when Reagan became President. He was four when he came to the US. His parents lived in Canada for 3 years before he was born, and his mother became a Canadian Citizen.
Rubio. was nine when Reagan became President.
But, they are NOTHING like him in his beliefs and their actions.
He was pro-choice, although he suddenly changed his views politically to get elected. Personally, privately, he maintained his pro-choice views, especially in private discussions I had with him before he changed his views.
He was very concerned about poverty and the poor. Yet, he cut funding for the very people he supported.
He cut taxes for the wealthy from 70% to 28% (too low) then raised them 11 times. Not just income tax, but consumer taxes on various items as well.
He was a ramrod for education, verbally, yet cut funding.
He was in favor of taking care of the nation's elderly and needy.
He was anti communism and FOR increased relations with Russia.
He believed in running the government as a business, but was stymied when he couldn't FIRE whomever he wished.
He TRULY believed, if he cut taxes on the wealthy, they would, in turn, increase wages on the middle-class and productivity would also increase. They called it the "Trickle-Down Theory," which many Republicans today consider a nasty word and many say, falsely, it was NEVER USED (It Was).
Reagan was a shmoozer. He could talk to anyone about anything. Since I worked with him on his first campaign ads, he was still green in how he stated things. This was before his handlers told him how to act and what to say. He was opinionated, but people don't know the facts. He was never NASTY to people. He didn't call them "liars." He would often say, as was made famous in a debate, "There you go again." He said it with a smile. A warm smile, and you know what he meant, but it didn't offend. Never offended.
He often went off script. At times, we weren't certain where he was going, but, it would always end in an anecdote about his film career and his actor bodies.
He brought peace and prosperity. HE DIDN'T WANT WAR. He never proposed Carpet Bombing. He never proposed preemptive strikes (Except on Gaddafi). He was a true American and one of the most likable men I've ever met.
Cruz is mean and nasty and is an extremist. Reagan was never an extremist, but a negotiator. He could be curt, but that smile, the tilt of his head and the touch of his hand on the shoulder was saying it's okay.
Rubio is just plain unprepared for the questioning, too snide and to rooted to sound bites. His smile says "Oh-oh. Caught. Can't find the notes to get me out of this one. Now what do I do?"
Forget Trump. The only comparison is the red hair. I guess that's what Trump calls it. Reagan's was real. He use a full small bottle of Vitals or something like it on his hair at a time, the grease darkened his hair, but it was red.

Trump has no clue about Middle-Class.

Are Trump’s sycophants and lemmings aware that federal employees who worked without pay or were furloughed during Trump’s insane, conniption fit, did not do it due to “…their allegiance to President Trump…,” as the thankless wretch in the Oval Office stated? They didn’t “volunteer” for this. They were threatened by firing if they didn’t show up to work. This is servitude. They blame him for their damaged credit, late-fee payments, interest loans, missed payments, meals and medical care, and more. Billionaire Wilber Ross said he “doesn’t understand this. Why don’t they simply go to the bank and get a loan? The banks will give them a loan.” Many, if not most, federal employees live paycheck to paycheck.  Trump told them to “make an arrangement with the grocer. Grocery stores will give you groceries if you tell them you’ll pay them when you get paid.” Federal employees took an oath to protect the Constitution, not Trump. Trump and his cronies have no idea how the Midd...
VERY IMPORTANT! - trump successfully diverted attention all week with his false rhetoric, tweets and insults, defaming veterans, Puerto Ricans, widows of dead soldiers, a Black Congresswoman, and who knows how much more, while his new, "old friend," Mitch McConnell set his Mongol Army on American Citizens. trump is the beginning of the final chapter of the Republican effort to show, Democracy doesn't work. The Country doesn't work. To bring down the Whole Country and Stephen  Bannon STATED VERBALLY and in PRINT he wanted to do. Reduce the Federal Government to a small "caretaker" government, where the citizens MUST rely strictly on their own for survival, no matter the circumstances. NO ENTITLEMENTS of any source (MEDICARE and SOCIAL SECURITY ARE NOT ENTITLEMENTS.  BEWARE OF trump's TRICKS. Now you can see how they work.  > trump did his job. While he diverted the country with his insults and inane comments, lies and B.S., and the media assist...

Hypocrites or not? You decide..

. SHELDON METZ · SUNDAY, MAY 1, 2016 To my ultra-religious friends who quote bible passages and support Trump, how about hearing this when he speaks on TV? Actual quotes fro a rally: DROPPING THE F - BOMB: "The Donald," as he is known, enters the arena, more as a billboard for self inflicted controversy. The supreme aggrandizer, somehow, stays in the game. Willing to use opening phrases such as, "Listen You Mother F*ckers …," which is cool, if your, you know, watching a film by Martin Scorsese, a play by David Mamet or listening to a rap song by Ice Cube, but as a presidential candidate, this is not cool at all. Once he gets a taste for the reaction, the audiences nervous laughter, the cussing continues. On Foreign Policy: "We build a school, we build a road, they blow up the school, we build another school, we build another road they blow them up, we build again, in the meantime we can't get a f*cking school in Brooklyn." On...
