Kellyanne Conway presentsTRUMP NEVER LIES?- BS - # 11,220 since Jan. 20, 2017

CONWAY   at a conference  of the Conservative Political Action Committee: “He has been promoting and elevating women in the Trump Corporation — in the Trump campaign, in the Trump Cabinet, certainly in the Trump White House. It’s just a very natural affinity for him.” THE FACTS : No such elevation of women has taken place, when Trump’s choices for the Cabinet and top White House aides are compared with those of other presidents in recent decades. Indeed, there’s been backsliding. — Cabinet: Trump has nominated four women for Cabinet or Cabinet-level jobs. That’s fewer than Democrats Barack Obama (seven) and Bill Clinton (six) had for their first Cabinets, and the same number as Republican George W. Bush chose out of the gate. As well, women chosen by Trump are in less senior positions — both in prominence and in the line of succession to the presidency — than some of the women nominated by his predecessors. For example, Obama’s first secretary of state, a top-tier post, was Hill

TRUMP NEVER LIES?- BS - # 11,219 since Jan. 20, 2017

T RUMP , at a White House meeting with manufacturers, again claimed credit for a $700 million savings in the military’s contract with Lockheed for the F-35 fighter jet. Speaking to the defense contractor’s CEO Marillyn Hewson, he said: “Over $700 million. Do you think Hillary would have cost you $700 million? I assume you wanted her to win.” THE FACTS : Cost savings for the F-35 began before Trump’s inauguration and predate his complaints about the price tag. The head of the Air Force program announced significant price reductions on Dec. 19 — after Trump had tweeted about the cost but weeks before Trump met about the issue on Jan. 13 with Hewson. “There is absolutely no evidence whatsoever of additional F-35 cost savings as a result of President Trump’s intervention,” said Richard Aboulafia, an analyst with the aerospace consulting firm Teal Group. He said Trump appears to be taking credit for prior-year budget decisions and for work already done by managers at the Pentagon who

TRUMP NEVER LIES?- BS - # 11,218 - since Jan. 20, 2017

TRUMP: “We’re getting gang members out, we’re getting drug lords out, we’re getting really bad dudes out of this country, at a rate nobody has ever seen before. … It’s a military operation because what has been allowed to come into our country, when you see gang violence that you’ve read about like never before and all of the things, much of that is people who are here illegally. And they’re rough and they’re tough, but they’re not tough like our people. So we’re getting them out.” THE FACTS: Trump is broadly embellishing his brief track record on immigration and wrongly branding the deportation effort a military operation. The number of people expelled from the country since Trump took office on Jan. 20 has not been released. No available data supports his claim that immigrants in the country illegally are being expelled at a rate “nobody has ever seen before.” Deportations were brisk when Barack Obama was president. Altogether in January, 16,643 people were deported, a

FROM TRAVELING LIGHT - VERY ONEROUS THE STEPS TO AUTOCRACY . . . and, btw, also genocide

A REAL BEWARE! Posted on February 9, 2017 W/ MY INSERTS The steps to become a dictator, an all-authoritarian ruler, are the same as the ones required to achieve genocide. While I do not believe, by any stretch, that the United States is headed towards genocide, I recognize that the actions by our president are aligned with the actions necessary for genocide. It is a question only of degree and goals. My study of strongmen gaining control of governments and, ultimately, achieving genocide began in 2003 when I co-directed and produced the documentary film Peace by Peace: Women on the Frontlines. The film showed the work of women rebuilding their nations after massive devastation, including in Burundi and Bosnia. It was ten years after the genocide in Burundi, concurrent with the genocide in Rwanda, by Hutus of Tutsis and moderate Hutus, and seven years since the end of the four-year siege of Sarajevo by Bosnia Serbs. The documentary, which de

Trump will lie and always blame someone else.

Trump says, “When the media lies to people, I will never, ever let them get away with it,” he declared.  Trump however, was less clear on what’s supposed to happen when he lies to people, even while reading from his trusted Teleprompter. He calls the truth lies and the lies from him are the Gospel? Have you noticed that after every deliberate lie (NOT misspeak), he always says, ALWAYS, someone gave him the wrong information...someone wrote it down wrong...I saw it on Fox News. HE WILL NEVER APOLOGIZE. IT IS ALAWAYS SOMEONE ELSE'S FAULT.....YET EVEN AFTER BEING CORRECTED...HE CONTINUES TELLING THE SAME LIE!

Impeach Trump

We are allowing Donald Trump to dismantle the United States, State by State. City by City. Neighborhood by Neighborhood. Every act is an attempt to dismantle  the progress of the past 30 years. He has made enemies of our allies and an ally in Russia, which, upon Trump’s coronation, seemingly was allowed to invade Ukraine, with no repercussions from the president, himself. He has created fear and uncertainty in seniors and women and children.   He bloviates, 75% of the time, about himself and his ego, congratulating himself regarding areas even in which had no input or control. This man professed to make America great again. BS. He has reduced our standing in the world. Leaders of foreign allies and foes are afraid. He is driving them into a position where eventually, one will be forced by his actions and words to attack American interests.   Trump himself has attacked our country and our constitution, over and over. Is no one saying to him, “Enough’s enough?” Is he an omnipote

Trump is NOT a man of his word. NEVER WAS

I read the letter to the editor and the FB pages and other outlets where I see multitudes of Trumpeteers saying, Trump is a man of his word. After I get up off the floor after laughing myself into a fit, I begin to wonder, “Which word is Trump true to?”  He changes his words every time he speaks. And, if he doesn’t, he has a slew of English-speaking interpreters to tell us what he really meant to say. What he truly believes. Which often he repudiates seconds later. I am genuinely confused now. Someone tell me what Trump believes that he wasn’t 180 degrees opposite previously?  It appears now, Obamacare may remain (thank goodness), with changes and fixing here, tweaking there. It appears, Trump is doing the opposite of “bring(ing) the world together,” witness Australia, Germany, etc. “Mark my words, Hillary will go to prison.” Thankfully, he reneged on that. So many more examples. If you need them, ask me. But, remember, only Kellyanne Conway can lie her way out of a Republican b

With Trump comes the loss of Humanity.

With the election of Donald Trump, America lost it’s humanity. We learned that this country was peopled by disenfranchised Pilgrims seeking freedom of choice to pray the way they wanted, without being ordered by the king to whom they should pray.  After England broke with the Roman Catholic Church, in order to satisfy Henry VIII’s desire for a divorce, Puritans made some gains, but not enough to satisfy Separatists, including Pilgrims. They moved on…to Holland.  In Holland, work was scarce and difficult, pay poor. Families separated. The Pilgrims wanted to move on, spreading the gospel of the kingdom of Christ to remote parts of the world. They migrated to this new land.  Almost three-hundred years later, many religious orders had settled in the new land, men banded together to fight for and die for their long-hep freedom of choice. They met to create an actual country, independent of British rule and free to worship as one pleases. The Founding Fathers wished to keep that fre
