Why are some Republicans afraid to vote their hearts rather than their party?

Several Republicans in Congress, 8 from the House and 2 Senators, said that many of their votes against Obamas programs may not have happened if Obama had come to them. They actually agreed some of the legislation presented. Things "may have gone the other way if he just came to (them). .
SO, IT WAS POLITICAL. Not their responsibility to the American citizens, and not the policies that would have affected millions of Americans positively. They blame their votes on Obama for "not coming to them." His fault they voted no. Not, of course, McConnell's vow to make Obama a one-term president by voting down anything he proposed.
I am so tired of Republicans saying Obama did nothing to interact with The Republicans in Congress. On January 31, 2010, Obama asked to meet with the Republican Caucus to present his ideas and get feed back and open communications. Instead, Jeb Hensarling and a young Paul Ryan, stood and yelled and argued with the president about his economic proposals. Rather than a simple conversation, Obama was ATTACKED. The televised meeting, was set up as an ambush with gross distortions and misrepresentations. The president handled them well, but Ryan kept attacking even as the event ended. The beginning of the disrespect they showed Obama.
The Republican Murder Enthusiasts (RME), I'm sorry, gun rights nuts, say Obama should propose something to stop crime, but not register guns. They are ignorant of the fact that the Second Amendment they worship states clearly, "WELL-REGULATED." Regulations mean related. THIS IS THE DEFINITION OF REGULATED:
" control or supervise (something, especially a company or business activity), by means of rules and regulations."
I Agree. We do have the right to make certain our gun owners are REGULATED. This is the part which gun enthusiast DELETE when citing the Second Amendment, because it doesn't serve their purpose.. Any rational person would have to have gone to a dictionary and see what WELL-REGULATED MEANS.
Obama tried to stop crime and mass shootings and guns in the hands of terrorists, but the REPUBLICANS in CONGRESS voted down his proposal to keep guns away from the names on the no-fly list. They actually voted to allow NO-FLY PEOPLE to buy guns. WHY? Because it was Obama's idea. No other reason.
Obama tried to increase jobs, but the Republican Congress voted down his infrastructure programs.
There's more, but I ask, if it's so simple to find the truth, why do people tell me I'm lying? Where do they get their FACTS? I'd like to know.

VERY IMPORTANT! - trump successfully diverted attention all week with his false rhetoric, tweets and insults, defaming veterans, Puerto Ricans, widows of dead soldiers, a Black Congresswoman, and who knows how much more, while his new, "old friend," Mitch McConnell set his Mongol Army on American Citizens. trump is the beginning of the final chapter of the Republican effort to show, Democracy doesn't work. The Country doesn't work. To bring down the Whole Country and Stephen  Bannon STATED VERBALLY and in PRINT he wanted to do. Reduce the Federal Government to a small "caretaker" government, where the citizens MUST rely strictly on their own for survival, no matter the circumstances. NO ENTITLEMENTS of any source (MEDICARE and SOCIAL SECURITY ARE NOT ENTITLEMENTS.  BEWARE OF trump's TRICKS. Now you can see how they work.  > trump did his job. While he diverted the country with his insults and inane comments, lies and B.S., and the media assist...

Hypocrites or not? You decide..

. SHELDON METZ · SUNDAY, MAY 1, 2016 To my ultra-religious friends who quote bible passages and support Trump, how about hearing this when he speaks on TV? Actual quotes fro a rally: DROPPING THE F - BOMB: "The Donald," as he is known, enters the arena, more as a billboard for self inflicted controversy. The supreme aggrandizer, somehow, stays in the game. Willing to use opening phrases such as, "Listen You Mother F*ckers …," which is cool, if your, you know, watching a film by Martin Scorsese, a play by David Mamet or listening to a rap song by Ice Cube, but as a presidential candidate, this is not cool at all. Once he gets a taste for the reaction, the audiences nervous laughter, the cussing continues. On Foreign Policy: "We build a school, we build a road, they blow up the school, we build another school, we build another road they blow them up, we build again, in the meantime we can't get a f*cking school in Brooklyn." Trump’s great satirical performance

Republicans, lie after lie, still support the Agent Orange-in-Chief. They know he lies, admit it in fact, yet still “believe in him.” How can that be? He recently held a Cabinet meeting, similar to one held a year ago, where he gave his sycophant Cabinet Secretaries the opportunity to praise glory on the exalted Russian lackey, himself - one of his greatest satirical performances. Trump: “Every day, Border Patrol encounters roughly 2,000 illegal immigrants … trying to enter our country. …”  Fact:  The daily number of what he calls “illegals” is actually about 1,000.  Trump (regarding Foreign Aid): “… the Democrats… want $12 billion additional for foreign aid… It’s $54.4 billion… but in foreign aid, they want 12 billion over the $54 billion…”  Fact: The total fiscal 2018 budget for the State Department ($12 billion), and foreign operations including foreign aid, $42 billion. Republicans control the Senate. Trump: “(Afghanistan) built the library in Afghan...
