Ted Cruz's plan to destroy America

I KNOW MY FRIENDS ON THE RIGHT (THEY'RE STILL FRIENDS), WON'T EVEN READ THIS IF I POST IOT, BUT, MAYBE SOME INTELLIGENT DEMOCRAT OR INDEPENDENT WILL READ IT TO THEM.
Ted Cruz's blueprint for destroying America
By Joan McCarter
Ted Cruz is doing his damnedest to perfectly embody the Freedom Caucus/tea party nihilism. It's all about destroying things they hate, which is pretty much everything that makes our society work. No. Really. In fact the Washington Post Politics page counts the ways he wants to destroy our government or aspects of it. Here's their list of what "he'd get rid of or change."
• The U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv would be moved to Jerusalem.
• He'd axe the Commerce Department, and with it millions in grants and small and minority-owned business assistance. SBA GONE!
• Being a 10ther, a proponent of the theory that ignores the history of the constitutional convention and says all power should devolve to the states, Cruz wants to abolish the Department of Education and leave that entirely up to the states. They'd get federal help in block grants, but it would be entirely administered by states and localities. Which gives Mississippi and Idaho the opportunity to fail even bigger!
• The Department of Energy would also be toast, mostly it seems because Cruz really wants to fire a bunch of public employees, saying it would save the country $500 billion (because apparently federal employees don't need to eat or have shelter or health care or jobs or money). Additionally,NO REGULATIONS at all on the extraction and export of fossil fuels would be a bonus. Drill, baby, drill. ANYWHERE-ANYTIME -Then export it and make as much money as possible while you can.
• Bye-bye Housing and Urban Development. He says some of the programs within HUD would be preserved, but doesn't say how when there's NOo agency to administer them. Details, details.
• The Internal Revenue Service would be "abolished" as a symbol of Washington bureaucracy. He says we should be able to do our taxes on a postcard or app on our phone. Apparently you don't need anyone to process that at the other end. It just magically goes from your phone to the treasury. Also, too, Cruz wants to abolish income and payroll taxes. You know what goes away when there aren't any payroll taxes? Yep, the Social Security and Medicare trust funds. That would be a really convenient way of abolishing those programs, wouldn't it. There must be some Republicans on Social Security and/ or Medicare, or are they all wealthy?
• He'd reverse the Iran nuclear deal. We don't know if that also means he send the newly released hostages back or send crews in to take the concrete out of the nuclear reactors Iran just deactivated. Once again, details.
• Taking a page from Trump, Cruz would "utterly destroy" ISIS, and with his carpet bombs apparently a pretty big chunk of geography in the Middle East. But, you know, it's not like anyone is using it or anything. It's just sand, right?
• This is an easy one: Obamacare. Because of course it is. He's got his health care with his wife's Goldman Sachs coverage—and man, how handy (and profitable) has that Goldman Sachs connection been for him? Does he have a plan for what to do when Obamacare is gone? Of course not. He's a Republican.
• All of the stuff President Obama has managed to achieve without Congress would be "erased" because Cruz says he has a pen with an eraser. So immigration and gun control executive orders are out the window.
• He'd shut our borders to, you know, those kind of refugees, the ones who aren't Christian and White. Because that's apparently what Jesus would have done?
• Cruz's devolution of power from the federal government to states and localities of course has its limits. One of those is the decision by municipalities to be sanctuaries for some undocumented workers. So he'll pick and choose what the states and localities he wants to give all the power to get to do with that power. Because he's a Republican.
He really is the leader of the maniacs, the House Freedom Caucus nuts who don't believe in governing. Nihilists.

VERY IMPORTANT! - trump successfully diverted attention all week with his false rhetoric, tweets and insults, defaming veterans, Puerto Ricans, widows of dead soldiers, a Black Congresswoman, and who knows how much more, while his new, "old friend," Mitch McConnell set his Mongol Army on American Citizens. trump is the beginning of the final chapter of the Republican effort to show, Democracy doesn't work. The Country doesn't work. To bring down the Whole Country and Stephen  Bannon STATED VERBALLY and in PRINT he wanted to do. Reduce the Federal Government to a small "caretaker" government, where the citizens MUST rely strictly on their own for survival, no matter the circumstances. NO ENTITLEMENTS of any source (MEDICARE and SOCIAL SECURITY ARE NOT ENTITLEMENTS.  BEWARE OF trump's TRICKS. Now you can see how they work.  > trump did his job. While he diverted the country with his insults and inane comments, lies and B.S., and the media assist...

Hypocrites or not? You decide..

. SHELDON METZ · SUNDAY, MAY 1, 2016 To my ultra-religious friends who quote bible passages and support Trump, how about hearing this when he speaks on TV? Actual quotes fro a rally: DROPPING THE F - BOMB: "The Donald," as he is known, enters the arena, more as a billboard for self inflicted controversy. The supreme aggrandizer, somehow, stays in the game. Willing to use opening phrases such as, "Listen You Mother F*ckers …," which is cool, if your, you know, watching a film by Martin Scorsese, a play by David Mamet or listening to a rap song by Ice Cube, but as a presidential candidate, this is not cool at all. Once he gets a taste for the reaction, the audiences nervous laughter, the cussing continues. On Foreign Policy: "We build a school, we build a road, they blow up the school, we build another school, we build another road they blow them up, we build again, in the meantime we can't get a f*cking school in Brooklyn." Trump’s great satirical performance

Republicans, lie after lie, still support the Agent Orange-in-Chief. They know he lies, admit it in fact, yet still “believe in him.” How can that be? He recently held a Cabinet meeting, similar to one held a year ago, where he gave his sycophant Cabinet Secretaries the opportunity to praise glory on the exalted Russian lackey, himself - one of his greatest satirical performances. Trump: “Every day, Border Patrol encounters roughly 2,000 illegal immigrants … trying to enter our country. …”  Fact:  The daily number of what he calls “illegals” is actually about 1,000.  Trump (regarding Foreign Aid): “… the Democrats… want $12 billion additional for foreign aid… It’s $54.4 billion… but in foreign aid, they want 12 billion over the $54 billion…”  Fact: The total fiscal 2018 budget for the State Department ($12 billion), and foreign operations including foreign aid, $42 billion. Republicans control the Senate. Trump: “(Afghanistan) built the library in Afghan...
