Millions of people still support Trump. Why? People with whom Trump has taken peace of mind, dignity, respect, pride, and more. He gave a 'tax cut.' That gave the average recipient a hundred dollars or so in their pockets. His friends got millions. However, due to these cuts, Medicare, medicine, local taxes (i.e., R.E. and property, sales, State Income) are increasing, making those tax-cuts void. In fact, the average middle-class citizen will net LESS after his cuts than before. It's all a DECEPTION. In 2017, Trump earned $288 million. In 2018, $453+ million. How much more are you NETTING.
He created potential trade wars, which will negatively affect produce producing states, then pushed significant cuts in Farm Subsidies. Farmers cannot find labor for harvests. Trump has: eliminated the Clean Air and Water Acts; cut public education funds, cut credits and increased tariffs related to ecology; cut MPG ratings; eliminated National parks. He eliminated middle-class workers’ rights in negotiation with corporations; created obstacles to abortion; filled the Cabinet with incompetent malefactors; reduced the credibility of the US by his antics and he negated previously signed pacts and treaties. These actions will only hurt his supporters most.
Subsiding the wealthy has been his game all along. This includes his racist handling of minorities in the country. Somehow, he became a favorite of the Religious Right while having ZERO UNDERSTANDING of Jesus, Christianity, Judaism, Islam or any other Religion.
Where is the Christianity from this man for the poor,l sick and needy by taking away food and shelters? Where is the Christianity in him (and most Republicans) for those trying to escape poverty and injustice and violence? Where is the 'turning of the tables in the Market Place?" Trump finances the lenders and helps them build NEW tables.
Where is his effort to help the average Joe with the right to live free? Where is the Christianity in allowing children to be ripped from their parents, at any age, breastfeeding or not? Where is Trump on the usurpers, allowing individual loansharks to return - at ANY unlimited percentage rate or circumstance? When does he believe in the words of his Lord? - "You shall love your neighbor as you love yourself." He hates everyone.
I am Jewish, yet my learnings were very similar to the Christian teachings...Jerimiah s9:23-24 - "Thus says the LORD, "Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD who exercises loving kindness, justice, and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things," declares the LORD. Donald Trump is NOT a CHRISTIAN! He plays one to amass votes.
