Why do they disbelieve Trump and STILL support him?

The worst thing is the people still support Trump after he admitted he is only acting a part. Everything he says is altered to the exact opposite of what he originally said within 24 hours. And still they believe him. He comes out with no policy, says that’s his policy...and the lemmings believe it. There is no there there, no facts there, no reality there. What is he for? Guns, No guns. Punishing a woman who has an abortion, but he didn't really mean that. Arresting doctors who perform abortions, but, not really. Stand fast against ISIS and attack them on the ground, but no boots in the country, Get rid of all 12 million "illegals,"  but spend no money doing so(he'll have them self-deport (but wait, he won't do that either), Refuse addition to and kick out the bad Muslims, but keep the "good" ones. Cruz is a liar, but he’s be a great VP, we’re going to be a reliable Ally and defend our friends…unless our allies don’t pay up (extortion, anyone), America is going to be the leader in the world.”Make America GREAT AGAIN,” but we’re going to concentrate on our country and not foreign country (isolationism, anyone), we will always have enemies, but, we want everyone in the world to be our ally, “We’re going to be working very closely with our allies in the Muslim world,” but, “We’re going to ban Muslims from entering the US.” We will spread international values while we promote  Western Civilization to the Arab World, and “enlighten” the rest of the World to the Western dogma. we will create stability in the world as we begin a trade war with China, Mexico, South Korea, Viet Nam and the rest of Asia. “If Congress doesn’t go along with me…I’ll fire them.” That may have been a joke he made, but, I sincerely believe he thinks he can fire them.

I still have some people - not many - who support trump, as it turns out. Even those of my persuasion. They think trump is good for the U.S. because he supports Israel. I agree, that's great. And, despite what trump created with Obama's being a Muslim, born in Kenya, even Obama was supportive of Israel. Netanyahu was rude to Obama, even during the campaign which people forget about, and still, Obama was kind a respectful.  AGAIN, I say, trump's decision to back out of the Iranian deal would allow Iran to return to their Nuclear dreams, which is NOT good for Israel or the U.S. They would firstTHREATEN Israel often and Blackmail the U.S. That is common sense when you take time to think about it.

Babyman has a conniption fit

There is no there with the Tyrant-in-Charge of our new autocracy. He usurped the Senate by taking over supervision of Mitch McConnell, as he did to Paul Ryan, a man who turned into a eunuch under Trump. I wonder what Trump’s offered these members of the Sycophant Party? Pelosi used her authority to determine risk in presenting the State of the Union, saying he could submit it in writing, the usual procedure until the 1970s. Babyman had a conniption fit, canceling Pelosi ’s plane ride to Afghanistan, offering support to our military, and gaining vital information from the front lines. This trip was to understand the issues better, an opportunity always allowed to Congressional leaders.  He claimed it was due to the shutdown and just a publicity tour. However, that didn’t keep him from a photo op trip to Iraq or allowing a Republican delegation to go, or allowing Melania to fly to Mar-a-Lago, on U.S. aircraft, all during the shutdown.

Education is the key to civility

Republicans have been in a “war” against public education for many decades; invariably against funding to support America’s most vital institution(s).  Techniques are to oppose state and Federal  initiatives to decrease taxes spent to support public schooling in states under their control; encourage charter schools owned by wealthy, private Republican donors; supporting anti-education individuals to “run” the State and Federal systems (DeVoss?); allow absurd tuition increases; closing schools in desperately needed areas; cutting educators’ salaries; lacking raises, pensions,  maintenance, supply, extracurricular activities, new books and supportive materials; and, much more. They profess their “support” of education; even falsely claiming to be the “party of education.” This includes K-12, H.S. and College/University levels.  Schoolbooks, such as those produced primarily by the Texas Republican State Board of Education, deny mention of significant historic...
