Rules involving citizenship for a child born to an American citizen and a non-citizen are very clear.
A child born abroad to a US citizen(s) who lived in (or came to) the United States for the required period of time of five years prior to the child's birth, is generally considered a U.S. citizen at birth. If they do not return to the US. within that period of time, their child is NOT considered a U. S. Citizen.
Raphael Cruz’s mother did not return within the period of time she left and Raphael was born. It is easy to find and clearly stated.
In his rhetoric, Raphael constantly states his father always loved the US and came here because he loved the country. He did not come to the US. He went to Canada, where he met his wife. When she wanted to come “home,” they did, with little Raphael in tow.
Remember Obama’s attacks on his middle name? I'd like to know why isn’t Cruz using his first name? What is he embarrassed about? Who is he trying to fool?
