Donald Trump is getting a free ride from the Republican Congress, media and investigative reporters. Outwardly, they seem to object to his Tweeting, inane comments and obvious lack of interest in the whole process. Officially, they support everything he does. Where are the witch hunts Obama suffered regarding his citizenship, his religion, his anti-American ties, his "radicalism," his seizure of our guns.
Thinking to yourself - honestly - what do you think Congress would do if Hillary did the same things Trump is doing now? Tweeting American policy in 140 characters? Firing ALL Ambassadors and leaving us without coverage throughout the world (NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE)? Ambassadors stay put until a new one is in place, often meeting during the change over. Not under Trump. (Does he have the authority to fire them? He has not yet been sworn in?)
If Hillary had done ONE of those things, one, she would probably not make it to January 20, or her four years would be a 1461-day Congressional investigation.
It's the REPUBLICAN M.O. They did it to Kennedy, Carter, especially to Bill Clinton. In fact, he was impeached DIRECTLY as a result of a PERSONAL act and vendetta. He was investigated on a PERSONAL matter and got caught lying to Congress. As president, he was successful, but how many personal investigations and how many millions were spent on investigating him? How many investigations and how much money went against Donald Trump on legitimate personal (sex attacks?) and professional dealings? Has Trump had any major CONGRESSIONAL HEARINGS? No. ETHICS hearings? No. Bribery, illegal non-profit for personal gain? No. And every Republican you say this to responds with, "Well, Hillary was a crook. She killed someone with a pen in the neck, in front of people."
It was ironic how Bill's sexual activities involved several women, some were real, others not so, trying to capitalize on his fame and notoriety. However, he NEVER APPOINTED MONICA OR ANY FAMILY MEMBER OR ANY OTHERS TO HIS STAFF OR CABINET. Hillary was first lady, as will IVANKA and her clothing and jewelry line, run from her new office at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. And, Ivanka's husband Jared, the self-claimed orthodox Jew who wears no yarmulke or Tzitsis, and works Friday nights at dinner out with the family and Saturdays at family meals. More hypocrites in the WH.
Trump has no concept of protocols, in the WH or the WORLD, appointing relatives, moving his daughter into the WH, preferring to do business from his NY apartment rather than the White House, making radical appointments, refusing to hold regular press conferences, defending our perceived number one foe, dissing all the U.S.’s intelligent agencies, using his office for personal gain, showing just how vindictive he can and will be in Tweets and statements and attacking anyone who contradicts, disagrees or “insults” him. He has offended countries and leaders of countries, including the Pope. Trump has no self-control or empathy. He changes his mind, frequently. He blames others for his rash, unpredictable decisions when they go bad. He is a lit fuse who can light THE fuse! Kim Jong-un insults him, calls him "baby," what will Trump do? After all, Meryl Streep never even mentioned his name and look what he said. He told us ALL. Not to worry. He would be different after he was elected - “more presidential.” It was all an act. "
So, how’s that working out for us, so far?"
Other than that, I have no opinion.

Republicans have been in a “war” against public education for many decades; invariably against funding to support America’s most vital institution(s). Techniques are to oppose state and Federal initiatives to decrease taxes spent to support public schooling in states under their control; encourage charter schools owned by wealthy, private Republican donors; supporting anti-education individuals to “run” the State and Federal systems (DeVoss?); allow absurd tuition increases; closing schools in desperately needed areas; cutting educators’ salaries; lacking raises, pensions, maintenance, supply, extracurricular activities, new books and supportive materials; and, much more. They profess their “support” of education; even falsely claiming to be the “party of education.” This includes K-12, H.S. and College/University levels. Schoolbooks, such as those produced primarily by the Texas Republican State Board of Education, deny mention of significant historic...
